Office and Payroll Clerk [New Zealand]


 

S&N Enterprises Ltd based in Tauranga is looking for an Office Clerk to join our team. We require an Office and Payroll Clerk with long-term employment opportunities. As an Office Clerk, you will be managing the company website on a daily basis, looking after employment agreements and Payroll. In this role, you will be able to work from home and should be available only when needed.

Criteria:

  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Being responsible for the quality and completion of own tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions and requests as directed
  • Basic computer skills

Tasks Include:

  • updating information on leave taken and accumulated, employment history, salaries, superannuation and taxation, qualifications and training
  • raising records for newly appointed workers and checking records for completeness
  • sending out announcements of job openings and job examinations
  • mainting the company website on daily basis and sending out the daily data to supervisor to print.
  • creating files for new employees to record payroll data
  • maintaining and updating files for existing employees to record information such as employee contact details, leave taken, overtime, promotions, transfers, tax deductions, health insurance payments and superannuation
  • preparing payroll data from time sheets and other payroll and personnel records
  • processing payment of wages and salaries

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Tauranga, Bay of Plenty: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
