We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Online Product Specialist to join the e-commerce team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the online product induction process to ensure all available products are displayed on our website to a high standard.
Role Accountabilities:
- Coordinate with the Buying Team to receive new product samples to photograph before the product arrives.
- Using in-house photography boxes, photograph new product samples ensuring all imagery is of high-quality, and consistent with the website standards.
- Using the in-house photography boxes, capture 360 video clips for key product groupings to better showcase style detail online.
- Edit the product images as necessary to ensure that they are optimized for web, including resizing, cropping, clear-cutting and colour correction.
- Upload the product images in our product maintenance system
- Write compelling product descriptions that accurately represent each product, highlighting unique features and benefits, that appeal to customers.
- Map products to the appropriate web categories, ensuring all styles are easy to find and navigate on the website.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure new products are effectively promoted, and all available campaign imagery and videos are loaded on the product page.
- Continuously monitor the product pages for accuracy and update them as necessary to reflect any changes in product information or seasonal trends.
- Explore new photography techniques to make sure all our product imagery is aligned with industry standards.
- Review sales data and customer feedback to evaluate the performance of products on the website.
- Identify top-performing products and make recommendations for strategies to optimize their performance.
- Monitor and analyse industry trends & competitor products, to provide insight to the marketing team on trending callouts, trending styles & product groups.
