DPV is the largest minority owned Transportation company in the Northeast! We currently have 4 locations in the US, and have employees around the world!
DPV provides luxury corporate shuttles services for fortune 500-1000 companies. We have created a new position in the management team and we are looking for a strong Controller to join us.
What you’ll do:
- Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Supervise the Accounting team - 2 people
- Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
- Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
- Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
- Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
What you need to be hired as the Controller at DPV:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
- Must be able to speak, write, and understand the English language proficiently
- Five (5) years or more of related experience required.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation, preferred
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
