Job Description
The head of IT is responsible for business IT and services. Typically oversee professionals in IT systems and infrastructure, IT engineering and IT group team leadership. Routinely carry out GAP analysis on the business’ IT tech and team to ensure that there is adequate capability to reach future business goals.
- Own end-to-end product strategy with full ownership on the product
- Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians and other professionals to provide guidance
- Monitoring IT efficiency & assessing, monitoring and upgrading business system and process
- Liaising with vendors and 3rd parties
- IT security and governance
- Managing and developing the business IT division
- Must be able to align the product to business requirements and work alongside the development team to deliver end-product on time
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Taking ownership of the entire product strategy and development
- Need to define and execute product level testing procedures
- Leading and growing a team of product managers and designers
Requirement
- Bachelors' and above degree in any relevant discipline in related industry
- Experience as Head of IT or similar role
- Have a good knowledge with regards to BNM requirements of EMoney and Remittance and IT related matters
- Min 5 or more years of experience in the product management
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Previous experience in end-to-end product management of financial products
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Analytical and hands on approach with both business and technical teams

Salary: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
