DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement or monitor processes to reduce property or financial losses.
- Investigate known or suspected internal theft, external theft, or vendor fraud.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report or investigate crimes.
- Conduct stores audits to identify problem area or procedural deficiencies.
- Identify and report merchandise or stock shortage.
- Prepare written reports on investigation
- Train personnel in loss prevention activities
- Verify proper functioning of physical security systems, such as a closed-circuit televisions, alarms, sensors tag system, or locks.
- Apprehend shoplifters in accordance with guidelines.
- Identify and report safely concerns to maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor areas susceptible to loss such as receiving and issuing docks, warehouse, rtv, backload.
- Maintain documentation of reports on security-related incidents or investigations.
- Monitor compliance to standard operating procedures for loss prevention, physical security or risk management.
- Legal compliance, and matters related to organization work related crime and fraud.
- Respond to critical incidents.
- Expose any type of fraud.
- Recommend methods to reduce potential financial fraud losses.
- Ability to travel to different stores.
