COMPANY DRIVER JOB DESCRIPTION
Roles and responsibilities
The postholder is responsible for driving a company-owned vehicle for business purposes.
1. Transporting goods or passengers to and from various locations as directed by the company.
2. Ensuring the safety of the vehicle, passengers, and cargo by following traffic rules and regulations, and driving defensively.
3. Conducting routine vehicle maintenance, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and other fluids.
4. Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other important data related to vehicle use.
5. Communicating with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules and delivery times.
6. Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
7. Keeping the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both inside and out.
8. Driver should routinely check his phone for messages and answer telephone calls.
9. Work occasional evenings and weekends
8. Reporting any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate parties.
Qualifications / Skills / Requirements
1. Valid driver's license.
2. Clean driving record.
3. Previous experience driving commercial vehicles.
4. Physical fitness.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Commitment to safety.
7. Flexibility and willingness to travel.
8. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
9. Punctuality and reliability.
10. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
11. Willingness to undergo drug testing and background checks.
12. Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
13. Basic mechanical knowledge for conducting routine vehicle maintenance.
14. Ability to lift and move heavy objects when required.
15. High school diploma or equivalent.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php14,820.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends
