Food preparation will follow precise recipes and will be presented in styles as directed.Qualifications (required for job) & Knowledge & ExperienceHigh school diploma requiredCertificate in Food Preparation.ExperienceCommunication and interpersonal skills.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches.Hand-Eye Coordination: requires great knife skills. A steady hand will help you greatly.Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables Under the supervision of the Chef /Head Chef assist in the food preparation process.Prepare the food according to the integrated menus, and technical sheets, in order to serve the food daily and serve it at the specified times.Assists in supervision and instruction of subordinate Cooks and Service Workers, as necessary.Comply with legal and company standards (HACCP, food safety, food hygiene, general safety at work and the environment).Follows production schedule for quantities of food to be prepared.Assist with stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking.Perform other duties as required by the Head Chef.Behavioural Traits / Personal CharacteristicsBolder: Flexible, versatile, and prepared to take on challenges as needed.Smarter: always looks for efficiencies and better ways of doing thingsDriven: Sets high standards, is motivated and determined.Together: communicates well with peers and understand others views.Operational RequirementsCobre Panama is a remote site.
