Performance Driven Strength and Conditioning are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized strength and conditioning programs for athletes and clients based on their specific goals, abilities, and needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Instruct and guide clients in proper exercise techniques, ensuring safety and maximum performance.
- Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and support to help clients achieve their desired results.
- Monitor and track clients' progress, adjusting training programs as necessary.
- Collaborate with other coaches and trainers to create a cohesive training environment and deliver outstanding results.
- Stay up to date with the latest research, trends, and techniques in strength and conditioning to continually enhance coaching methods.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the gym equipment and facilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive training environment, building strong relationships with clients and promoting a team-oriented atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, preferably working with athletes from various sports.
- Extensive knowledge of strength training, conditioning, and periodization principles.
- Proficient in assessing movement patterns, biomechanics, and exercise technique.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and build rapport.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their goals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- CPR/AED certification (must be up to date).
- A genuine passion for fitness and helping others succeed.
