Would you like to use your leadership skills in a job that helps create better treatment options for people with intimate health care needs?

You will get to play an essential role in how we build new manufacturing processes and ensure the manufacturability of our new product designs.

”You’ll be at the forefront of our ambition to accelerate innovation at our Pilot Plant. In short, you’ll be leading our development of new manufacturing processes, and you will play a key role in bringing this into our development pipeline,” says Senior Vice President Anders Nørby.

A pilot plant full of knowledgeable and skilled colleagues
Your new workplace, our pilot plant in Mørdrup, is made up of 220 colleagues: 80 engineers and managers, 60 skilled workers, and 80 unskilled workers. The plant is overall responsible for developing robust and efficient manufacturing processes. These will be transferred to international volume sites across all new innovation projects within ostomy, continence and wound/skin care.

Together with 4 leaders in your management team, you set the direction for our Pilot Plant in close collaboration with the R&D leadership team.

“In our Pilot Plant, we combine production and R&D through lots of creativity, knowledge and experience. And we have great momentum,” explains Anders.

Production, development and people management
Heading up the pilot plant, you will ensure both innovation of manufacturing processes as well as a smooth production of products that are designed for manufacturing, automation, and sustainability.

This also entails ensuring high quality and delivery performance of products that are manufactured and released from our Pilot Plant during pilot phases, ramp-up and in some cases running volume production.

Moreover, you will:
Be the front runner in involving the plant in the development activities in our R&D projects to develop the production processes needed for the products in our R&D pipeline
Ensure the development of new manufacturing processes that will make way for future innovation
Coach and develop the leaders in our Pilot Plant
Be part of the R&D leadership team that steers innovation projects from project intake/scoping all the way to volume manufacturing
Take part in strategy and pipeline discussions, steering projects in the right direction, prioritising across the portfolio and overcoming roadblocks

Experience in leadership, development and manufacturing
”I’m looking for an experienced leader who’ll find that sweet spot between setting the direction for the plant while listening curiously to knowledgeable colleagues to understand the context,” says Anders, who also imagines that you:

Bring several years of experience with leading leaders, ideally in a larger organisation
Have a degree in engineering or natural sciences
Bring several years of technical experience, e.g. leading an R&D function, running a manufacturing site, commissioning machines, or developing manufacturing processes
Have experience from a regulated industry, maybe from the medical device/pharma industry
Are fluent in both English and Danish (non-negotiable)
